Other Asparagus Harvesters - Our Competition?

I'm not the only one developing an asparagus harvester.  At the moment I know of two others that are actively pursing a commercially viable asparagus harvesting machine.

One is the Haws machine being developed by Kim Haws in Mesa Washington, and the other by Mike Schwarz at Oraka Company based in New Zealand.

My pictures of the Oraka machine aren't all that great. The machine is still on it's trailer with stretch wrap on some of the components.

The photos show the newer version of the Oraka machine that they have mounted a grader on.

Here are a few photos of an old non-selective asparagus harvester. It was called "The Snapper".
